As I evolved as a man, I recognized these questions driving me — what kind of man, husband, and (God willing) father do I aspire to be? Now, where can I find those answers? I can honestly say I’ve been blessed to find those answers in experiences like Black Love Summit.
The way that we counter the narratives about Black men is by sharing and elevating the narratives of the opposite.
Over the past five seasons, Nic has illustrated hard-hitting realities that Black boys and young men face every day, including police brutality, and searching for a greater purpose. This season, he’s helping us interrogate the intersection of masculinity and intimacy.
