Elitia and Cullen Mattox are a dynamic husband-and-wife duo living in Harlem, New York. They have been happily married for 18 years due to the curriculum they developed to navigate their relational health with clarity, confidence and control. Decades before they met, Elitia and Cullen were dating other people, working in unhealthy workplaces, and navigating difficult family relationships. Both of their first marriages ended in divorce.
When they found each other, they decided that they wanted their new relationship together, their union, to be healthier and different. They wanted to operate as an iconic couple, and today they are. They created what they wished existed, which is their relationship-building work at WhenLoveWorks Dynamically.
WhenLoveWorks Dynamically (WLWD) is a premier provider of relationship-building for purpose-driven, busy professionals. Recognized for pioneering “Love Leadership,” Cullen and Elitia are dedicated to helping singles navigate dating with clarity, guiding couples to sustaining healthy, lasting relationships, and relationship success. The couple have now coached hundreds of singles through the best and worst times of their lives to help them find love and seek healthy relationships. Venis Wilder Henry is their most recent success story — she has now remarried after coming out of a divorce in 2021.
“[Elitia and Cullen] were super helpful to me when my first marriage was ending, and then they ended up being more helpful to me as I transitioned into my new love life,” said Mrs. Wilder Henry. “They helped coach me through the process of being an available partner and learning from the experiences that I previously had, and not giving up on love or myself. Through that process I was able to find my new love, and I’m celebrating a year and a half of marriage to my husband Mr. Henry.”
